Make space
part of
the music.

Music gives you rhythm, pitch, dynamics and timbre. Azimuth adds position and movement: scratch a track around your head, place drum voices around you, play chords that spread through space, or draw the path a song travels.

Space isn't an effect.
It's something you play.

Drag the dot, or use the sliders above. It's front-left, mid distance.

Sound is front-left, mid distance.

Hear it? That's a musical control now.

Azimuth Decks

Scratch a track around your head.

Two genuine performance decks: waveforms, scratching, cues, loops, sync, EQ, effects and MIDI. Except the decks aren't stuck between two speakers, place each one somewhere around you, and move it while you mix.

Azimuth Orbiter

Draw where the song goes.

Drop in a track, then draw the path it travels: distance, height, timing, holds and accent along the way. Add Doppler, lock the movement to the beat, then compare the original against the spatial version and export a lossless WAV.

Azimuth Drums

Build the rhythm in time.
Place each part in space.

Six voices, sequenced the way a drum machine always has been. Then placed: keep the kick in front, send the snare somewhere else, let the hats orbit. The beat doesn't just happen in time. It happens in space.

Azimuth Synth

Play chords that spread through space.

Low notes to one side, high notes to the other. Play a chord and its notes fan out around you instead of stacking in the middle. Change the spread, move the centre, let held notes travel.

Open Synth

One instrument concept.
A family of connected instruments.

Build a beat in Drums or a chord in Synth, then bounce it straight to a deck or hand it to Orbiter for a trajectory, without saving a file or leaving the browser.

DRUMSSYNTHDECKSORBITER

Not the recording.
The performance.

Ghost remembers the timed actions that made up a Decks performance: scratches, cues, loops, faders, EQ and spatial movement. On replay, Azimuth performs those actions again through the live decks.

Take control whenever you want. Ghost's clock keeps running underneath, so giving it back doesn't restart the performance, it continues where it would have reached.

Meet Ghost

Requires the original source tracks. Currently experimental.

Your music stays on your device.

Decks, Orbiter, Drums and Synth process creative audio locally. Your tracks and samples aren't uploaded to use the core instruments, and rendered files are written straight to your machine. If an optional feature ever requires cloud processing, Azimuth tells you before anything is uploaded.
